Foreign department
The Foreign Department was established on October 2, 2021 by the order of the Rector of the Fergana Public Health Medical Institute A. Sidikov №244. PhD Junaid Ali Shah was appointed as the head of the department. Junaid Ali Shah is a native of the Republic of Pakistan, majoring in Pakistan and defending his dissertation in China. The highly experienced and qualified professor is a role model for the members of the department under his leadership and puts into practice the experience gained abroad in research, teaching and transparent evaluation. The main purpose of the "Foreign Department" is to create more favorable conditions for foreign students studying at the institute, to train qualified and modern staff, to have a modern material and technical base and all the facilities for professors, teachers and students. to increase the prestige of the Institute in the international arena by providing beautiful classrooms and thereby attracting more foreigners to study. For this purpose, a part of the building "Children's Polyclinic", located in Fergana, the only one in the country, was equipped in accordance with modern requirements and transferred to the "Foreign" department. A total of 22 professors and professors teach medical secrets to more than 100 foreign students at the Foreign Department. Six of them are highly qualified professors from abroad, especially from Pakistan and India, and the rest are local professors. All professors have International Certificates of Foreign Language Proficiency. International students come mainly from Pakistan, India, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the Russian Federation, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and other countries. They study at the International Faculty in the field of "Medical work for international students." Trainings in this area are organized in accordance with the curricula of the National Program for Medical Training, approved by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan. All subjects taught at the Faculty of Medicine in the national program are taught to these students in a foreign (English) language.
